Die Schötmarsche Straße verläuft vom Ortszentrum Leopoldshöhe Richtung Nordost bis zur Gemeindegrenze zu Bad Salzuflen im Nordenosten der Gemeinde. Sie kreuzt in Krentrup die Schackenburger Straße – Heipker Straße und verläuft weiter vorbei am Abzweig Alter Postweg bis zur Gemeindegrenze.
Charakteristik
Die Schötmarsche Straße ist eine typische dörfliche Wohn- und Geschäftstraße. Bis zum Bau der Ortsumgehung war sie Teil der Verkehrsachse Oerlinghausen - Schötmar.
Geschichte
Nach der Ortsgründung 1851 wurden Geschäfte, Handelsbetriebe und Gewerbebetriebe z.T mit Wohnraum für die Inhaber errichtet. An der Schötmarschen Straße befand sich die Schule von Leopoldshöhe. Ende der 1950er Jahre wurde eine Tankstelle in Betrieb genommen.
